Psychotherapy Services

To support you on your journey we offer both individual and group psychotherapy designed to meet your specific needs and goals. We offer services for adults, couples, children, teens and families. Call, e-mail, or stop by for an appointment.

Individual Psychotherapy

Free Thirty Minute Initial Consultation

The free initial consultation is an opportunity for you and our psychotherapist to determine if this counseling relationship is a good fit. Together you will discuss your goals, hopes, challenges and gifts. It's also an opportunity to ask the psychotherapist any initial questions. At the end of the consultation you and the psychotherapist will decide if sessions at Peak to Peak Counseling would be supportive. If so you'll make an appointment for your first session, when you'll complete the initial paperwork and begin the counseling process.

Rate Options

For the standard rate, Peak to Peak Counseling charges $110 for a 55 minute individual session. We do not accept insurance, however monthly receipts for out-of-network insurance reimbursement can be provided upon request. For the sliding scale rate (an adjusted fee depending on your individual financial circumstances), Peak to Peak Counseling offers sessions conducted by our Psychotherapy Interns. Your free initial consultation will include a conversation with Richard Brandon, our Business Manager, to determine what amount is affordable for weekly counseling. We are committed to finding a rate that fits all financial circumstances.

Group Psychotherapy

Peak to Peak Counseling offers sliding scale (an adjusted fee depending on your individual financial circumstances) psychotherapy groups lead by our Psychotherapy Interns, tailored to meet specific needs of our community. Sometimes groups are closed (no new people come after the first session); other times they are open (people come and go depending on their needs). Groups can consist of children, teens, adults, individuals, couples, or families depending on the topic and format. Groups can last one to three hours, and occur once a week to once a month. Groups may be time limited (only 5 sessions) or unlimited (every Tuesday night). Here are some sample topics:

  • Addictions
  • Aging
  • Body Image
  • Career
  • Death and Dying
  • Divorce or Separation
  • Finances
  • Friendship
  • Grief
  • Mindfulness Techniques
  • Parenting
  • Personal Growth
  • Physical Health
  • Relationships
  • Social Skills
  • Spirituality

If you are looking for a specific group, please give Peak to Peak Counseling a call, send an e-mail, or drop by. Our groups are dictated by the needs of the community and develop out of your ideas.
